Welcome to CHC 2023-2024 Season Registration, and thank you for your interest in the Cranford Hockey Club. This registration will accomplish a few things. First, it will register your player for tryouts ($50) so they can be considered for a roster spot on one of our teams. Second, you will select a tuition payment plan of one, two or five payments that will automatically be charged to your card on stated dates if you are offered a roster spot and you accept it. All players who attend tryouts will be provided a tryout jersey.
There are NO tryouts for Mite or Squirt Development teams.
For Mite Travel, Squirt and Pee Wee, the first automatic payment will be on March 31. For Bantams and Midgets the first automatic payment will be April 17. Once that payment is made, the player will be "signed" and considered under contract with Cranford Hockey Club for the 2023-2024 season. Roster spots will be announced via our website for Mites, Squirts, Pee Wee, Bantams and Midgets (16U) by the end of the tryout week. If you would like to decline the roster spot, you must notify Mike DuHaime (mduhaime@madglobalstrategy.com) and Rick Sacchetti (rsacchet@cisco.com) within 48 hours of the teams being announced.
Note: Tryouts for ALL levels will be closed and no spectators will be allowed in the rink. Parents can come in to help with skates if needed before and after the tryout session.
Going through this registration will sign up your player for the 2023-2024 season for the Cranford Hockey Club. Before you begin, you will need a SportsEngine login and a valid USA Hockey Number to process this registration. Note: depending on when you register the 22-23 USA Hockey Number will be accepted. Prior to the beginning of the season, all rostered players will require a 23-24 USA Hockey Number.

Tryout Fee:
At the end of this registration, a non-refundable $50.00 fee will be charged.
Tuition Payment Plans:
Cranford Hockey Club will again provide payment options for the season tuition. During this registration you will be required to choose a payment plan for the 2023-2024 tuition. There are multiple choices to choose from and after a roster spot is accepted the credit card used during the registration will be charged in accordance with the plan chosen.
All tuition amounts will INCLUDE a 2.75% processing fee + $1.00 for each transaction. All tuition charges will AUTOMATICALLY be charged to the credit card used here on specific dates detailed later in this registration.
** If you are not offered or decline an offered roster spot in the club, your credit card will NOT be charged for the chosen tuition payment plan during this registration. **
USA Hockey Number:
A valid USA Hockey number for the 2023-24 season is required for registration when they become available. Before that, a 2022-23 number is sufficient to register. However, you will be required to provide an updated number prior to the '23-'24 season. If you need a USA Hockey number, please visit USA Hockey Membership before continuing. Each rostered player is required to obtain a 2023-24 USA Hockey number prior to the season starting. Registrants only need a valid 2022-23 number prior to ~April 1.
You will be able to get a valid USA Hockey number for the 2023-2024 season starting ~April 1st. Anyone registering on or after April 1st must have their updated and valid USA Hockey number for the 2023-2024 season.
